Ky-Mani Marley was born on February 26th, 1976 at Falmouth Jamaica. He is among the most wealthy and famous Reggae singers. He sang in Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where he released his first album With Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, such as Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts) as well as How Does The Cap Go Remix and Sensimelia. Each of them contributed to his growing popularity with the young generation of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani, as well as Praswell along with Praswell and Fugees (as members of Avenue) is a huge song by Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue was released in the year 1997. Marley was a guest in Midem (international music festival) during its time in Miami at the beginning of its run.
